Updated bfinance colour palette

bfinance was established in 1999 with the help of private equity funding to provide institutional investors with greater clarity in an increasingly complex financial landscape.

In 2017, as part of a brand review, we were asked to review the colour palette that was being used with a view to ensuring the colours contributed to the corporate brand positioning, whilst reflecting a sense of energy and providing enough flexibility to display complex information in graph format.

Our solution was to tweak the existing cold colour palette and select an additional set of warm colours, alongside two greys that act as supporting colours. The dark blue in the main logo was adjusted to a less grey variant, making it easier to use across a broad range of materials.

A distinct change was the icon in the logo was re-coloured to ensure the darkest section of the prism was pointing upwards for a subtle positive improvement.
