Comparing data year-on-year, the most significant change a year on has been the increase in volume of traffic, particularly from mobile. Visits to the site have increased by 24%, with unique visits increasing by 38% a month. This makes the site a more attractive proposition for sponsored content with an increasingly growing audience.
Creating a responsive site has had a major impact. Visits from mobile devices have grown by 194% and is now accounting for 1 in 4 of visits, compared with 1 in 10 a year ago.
One of the main objectives of the new site had been to encourage greater use from within the membership. This has been achieved as unique pageviews for the members only area (password accessed) has increased by 65% year-on-year.
The new site has delivered a solid platform for the SCC and its community. The Chamber has also grown to become the largest Swedish Chamber of Commerce globally by membership.
