We started trading in March 1998, moving into our first 'proper' studio in August of that year - London House, King Street.
Our cricket apple was created in 2008, as part of our 10th birthday celebrations, with our branded mug launching in 2012. You can read more about the story behind our brand in Alex's post here. Here's a snapshot of how our own brand communication has changed over the last 16 years.
Communication and technology
The emphasis was very much on branding and print communication when we began but we have steadily embraced digital. Our first website was designed back in 2000 and it's certainly been an interesting journey to see how technology has evolved since then! We launched our first responsive (mobile) website in 2012 and currently there are six responsive websites in the pipeline for the first half of this year. Print is still important to us though as we have seen it become something more valuable and playing a key role in complementing digital marketing.
