When it comes to building your brand online, how the typefaces work on your website is a key tool in creating brand recognition.

Web fonts have to work hard. They have to be comfortable to read from from a screen held in your hand to large HD desktop monitors. They have to retain legibility at a variety of sizes and lengths, from snappy headlines to long paragraphs of text.

Here are a few of our tried and tested favourites:

Museo Sans

This sans-serif is a great ‘workhorse’ – it offers great flexibility and legibility across all screen sizes and translates easily from print to digital.

Campton

Clean and contemporary with a wide range of weights makes this typeface versatile and adaptable.

Filson Pro

The rounded shapes and quirky feel to certain letters such as R’s and K’s add a touch of class and a unique look.

Sofia Pro

Designed by the same type foundry as Filson Pro, this has more rounded letter shapes for a soft, sophisticated feel. With 16 different weights available, it makes it easy to find ones that are just right for a brand.

Isidora

Soft and friendly, the flicks of the terminals (ends of the letters) make this typeface stand out, helping a brand look distinctive and approachable.
